As a seasoned military contractor, you can have confidence that PST will provide training to meet your specific needs. Finding time for training can be especially challenging with continually changing work schedules, training exercises, and deployments. We offer on-site training and compressed technical programs that can result in certification in weeks – not months or years. Whether you need certification training or need personnel to acquire specific technical competencies to be applied immediately after training, we have solutions for you.
VA Participant Information
U.S. veterans who take MCSE and CIW professional examinations can now use Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits to cover the examination fees. As of March 1, 2001 new VA education benefits allow individuals eligible for Montgomery G.I. Bill (Chapter 30) and Veterans Educational Assistance (Chapter 35 benefits) to apply for reimbursement for selected certification exam fees. Partcipants can be reimbursed for up to the cost of the exam, not to exceed $2,000 per exam. Eligibility does not limit the number of exams a candidate may take and includes exams that are retaken and exams needed for renewal of certifications. You do not have to pass the exam to receive the benefit.
You must provide the following information to the Veterans Administration:
- Name and Social Security number
- Copy of the exam results
- Name and number of the exam and the date taken
- Name and address of the organization issuing the license or certificate such as Microsoft, Prosoft, CompTIA, etc.
- Cost of the exam
- The following signed statement: “I authorize release of my exam information to the Veterans Administration.”
